ICT for Education Conferences – Autumn 2012
First time at the Reebok Stadium – very impressive. Thanks to ICT for Education for the invitation to talk about some great free or low-cost ICT tools for teachers and learners, and thanks too to the very friendly and responsive audience.
I’m a huge fan of the potential of blogging to give pupils a genuine voice and purpose to their writing. And ‘Quadblogging’ has been one of the most influential initiatives in encouraging more schools to make good use of blogs. So it was very apt that the person who created this idea, David Mitchell, was in the audience. I asked the audience to recognise David’s achievement with a round of applause – apologies for embarrassing you David – but it is a great achievement.
As promised to those there, here are the updated slides.
